Physicians and philosophers saw that there were extroverts and introverts, optimists and pessimists. Carl Jung saw four types:
Sanguine - Extroverted feeling type
Phlegmatic - Introverted feeling type
Choleric- Extroverted thinking type

The four humors have been expanded into widely studied characterization of people types called The Four Temperaments, which details the weakness and strengths of each type. Currently, in the field of personal color analysis, the Four Temperament types persist analogous with the Four Color Seasons.
SPRING / Sanguine Associated with bright colors. Is enthusiastic, lively, cheerful, animated, expressive, bubbly, changeable, sincere, colorful and humorous. These are the PROMOTERS.
SUMMER / Phlegmatic Associated with light colors. Is quiet, witty, kind, gracious, low-keyed, relaxed, giving, romantic, genteel, delicate, sympathetic, sensual, mannerly, happy, good listen. These are the SUPPORTERS.
AUTUMN / Choleric Associated with muted colors. Is natural, strong willed, realistic, relatively unemotional, snappy, busy, organized, outspoken, independent, practical, dependable. These are the (CONTROLLERS).

My type: so far haven't found what it matches up with...
INTJ: Usually have original minds and great drive for their own ideas and purposes. In fields that appeal to them, they have a fine power to organize a job and carry it out with or without help. Skeptical, critical, independent determined, sometimes stubborn. Must learn to yield less important points in order to win the most important

Do you know what book that chart is from that compares the MBTI types, DISC types, and biblical characters?
It's interesting. I'm innately a D/I (with a lot of C), usually living as a D/C (with a lot of I). I'm also an ENTJ. But many people would be inclined to call me an ESTJ. I read Myers' book, and there's something of a criss-cross in the naming convention. It's kind of weird, but it works like this: I'm primarily an extroverted sensor. But I'm an introverted intuiter. And for whatever reason, they call that an ENTJ. The first letter pairs with the third and the second letter with the fourth, or something like that. I couldn't wrap my head around it quite fully enough to be able to retain/explain it.
