Winter shapes are ovals, squares and rectangles. Don't forget also that T4s where one elegant piece of jewelry (rather than both earrings and necklace).  They generally wear shiny silver.

Liv Tyler
cool winter 4/2

This is a classic T4 get up with bold earrings.

These aren't perfect, but close.

In a lot of pics, you see Live being made too spring:

Several gold earrings that are wrong.

Lucy Liu
Deep Winter 4/3

She looks the best in classic earrings, usually silver or diamond, but she can wear gold too due to her secondary.

Too much texture!

Halley Berry
Deep Winter
some say clear spring

Classic winter shapes, dramatic and clean.

I also like this pair for some reason.

These should be right, but the colors of the outfits are sort of off.

How much gold can she handle, due to her secondary?

Courtney Cox

I actually had trouble finding any correct winter earrings on Courteney.

Sandra Bullock

Nobody does classy much better.

These should be wrong, but are they?

Oprah Winfrey
Some view Oprah as a winter, some as an autumn.

Winter?

Autumn?

She can be ebullient, but she's not spring.

Penelope Cruz
Deep Winter

Gorgeous
wrong shape, but still works

Wrong shape
                                        Too princess

Type 4 shapes: all of these shapes have parallel lines or are very symmetrical.
