I find the practice of exploring eye patterns and colors quite fascinating, as you probably do as well. Authors and systems do not agree as to the rightful place of eye color and pattern in determining your season. Most of the four type systems, completely disregard it. Additionally, your eyes are simply one of many factors contributing to your type or season, and they are also said to sometimes show your secondary rather than dominant.

When you haven't been trained as a color analyst and are just reading books and the internet, it comes as a confusing shock when you come across systems that cover up the hair and disregard eye color. This is just one subtle way that color systems vary. It's one that seems like it cuts out such important elements, especially if you're going for coordination of colors in clothing. This is especially troubling when eyes are so fascinating. But here are of the ideas behind it (discussed further in the ebook).
