How is Deep Winter Soft different than Soft Summer Deep?

In general, Summers wear grey, cool grey, navy, khaki, and pale pink beige.  Summers do not wear black, white or brown.

I am having the most difficult time deciphering the differences between a Toned winter and a shaded summer. I am one of the two and it seems that so many of the colors overlap and/or the differences are to subtle to tell over a computer screen. I find the picture of the eye at the bottom a very intriguing way to tell a season. Thank for all that you write!

So Toned Winter is Deep Winter Soft and Shaded Summer is Soft Summer Deep. Both of these are only part of the 16 season system. The main difference is in personality or dominant season. It would also be what neutrals they wear and how they combine them.

Thank you for the reply. I have been trying to figure out my season and I guess it's just hard for me to tell which one I am between the two of these. I was stuck between soft summer and deep winter in the 12 season system. What are the difference in the neutrals?
