The Temperaments and the Adult Child Relationship

A friend mentioned this amazing book by Kristie Burns (linked below), called The Temperaments and the Adult Child Relationship. It's about the temperaments from a number of sources, but primarily Steiner. There are so many cool things in this book. One of them is a simple list of symbols for each temperament. Notice how they are aligned a little different from what you may be used to.

Here Sanguine is East, Wood, Air, Dawn, squiggle, monkey, childhood, artisan

Here Phlegmatic is North?, Water, Midnight, Winter, cold, circle, and dolphin, (I added the adjective sacred, because I believe that's why it's with phlegmatic) *there are other sources that put phlegmatic with winter

Here Choleric is South, Fire, Noon, heat, Summer, Heart, Triangle, and bear, interesting that the heart is given to choleric here, rather than sanguine *there are other sources that put choleric with summer

Here Melancholic is Earth, West, Dusk, Autumn?, Owl, Metal, Square, and Green *see source below for Autumn being Melancholic

The Temperaments and the Adult Child Relationship
